Angie and Brad @ Ocean’s 13 Premiere (6/5)

Brad and Angelina looked sexy and happy on the red carpet last night at the Ocean’s 13 premiere. I am not too excited for the new Ocean’s movie, I really think these films are lacking depth. I guess maybe I will watch it when it comes on HBO if I am in the mood to spend 2 hours watching action without any tie to reality. Brad and Angie look a little too happy, like forced happy. I wonder if they are truly ecstatic to be there or just putting on a happy face for the cameras. Regardless, they are a beautiful couple and I hope they are happy for the sake of their rainbow family. I have been seeing rumors that Angelina is planning a fourth adoption, this time in the Czech Republic. It is great that she wants to help all these children but I would imagine another child will put even more strain on their relationship.

It appears that the goodwill tour that Angelina Jolie and her non-hubby Brad Pitt put forward earlier to soften their image has failed.  Jolie gave a soft Reader’s Digest interview that was chalked full of accolades then went on NBC with her own private yes woman Ann Curry to try to gain some favorable press coverage and slow down the speculation that a Brangelina split is near. 

So far – it hasn’t worked.  A UK Daily Mail article asked over the weekend if the couple universally known by the combined name of Brangelina are ‘Hollywood saints’ or just bonkers and notes that though Brad and Angie talk green, they certainly don’t live it.

For the latter, writer Paul Scott notes that they are Tinseltown’s hottest but increasingly bizarre couple.  They were criticized heavily for their trips abroad that are all on private jets while screaming ‘green’ especially Brad’s dark pronouncements about the state of the planet and the effects of global warming. At the same time, Pitt, took over four suites at the hotel in Cannes for his family costing about eighteen grand a night, but still tried to play up his globally conscious credentials in public, saying: “I look at my kids and know they will inherit this world. I want to do all I can to throw our weight in and make it a little better.”

A noble intention, but somewhat at odds with his own carbon footprint, which, it has to be said, has reached gargantuan proportions of late.

The Daily Mail notes that if that were not polluting enough, the couple, who traveled to France by private jet, are said to be in negotiation with an Italian firm to take delivery of a $ 200 million super yacht.

The paper calls it a “280ft vessel, which comes complete with its own glass-fronted submarine that can be launched from its hull, has eight decks, seven lifts and can carry eight limousines, three helicopters and a seaplane. It comes fitted with his and hers “wellness centers”, sauna and spa baths.”  What would Al Gore think?

Separated, Divorced, Same Thing… Or is it?

At last count, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were still maintaining that their relationship did not begin until after Brad split with wife Jennifer Aniston.  Jolie does not want to appears as a home wrecker.  But, she has let it slip in some interviews that she and Brad were getting close while ion the set of Mr. And Mrs. Smith and when they began filming that movie, Brad and Jen were still together.

Now Us Weekly Magazine has a report dissects that Reader’s Digest interview where Angelina Jolie reveals that Shiloh, her biological child with Brad Pitt, was deliberately conceived before Pitt’s divorce from Jennifer Aniston was final.  Uh-oh.

“Before I met Brad, I always said I was happy never to have a child biologically,” Jolie told the magazine. “Then, a few months after Z (adopted daughter Zahara) came home … I realized how much he loved them, that a biological child would not in any way be a threat. So I said, ‘I want to try.’”

Radar gets out the calendar and counts:  Jolie says bio baby Shiloh was not an accident. Shiloh was born in May 2006, putting her conception date somewhere in late August/early September 2005. Brad’s divorce to Jennifer Aniston wasn’t official until October 2005. Let’s see … carry the one … Oh, snap! The final insult! Angelina finally admits she was trying to get knocked-up while Brad was still married! Somewhere deep within Vince Vaughn’s meaty arms, Jen is quietly thanking Janice Min’s minions for the closure.

But Jen is cool about it.  “Jen considered herself divorced when she and Brad were separated and couldn’t care less what happened after that,” says a source, adding that “Jen is not angry over the new revelation and thinks Shiloh is a cute baby.”

LA Fires Threaten Celebs Hillside Estates.

 

A WILDFIRE raged out of control in Los Angeles last night threatening the homes of the rich and famous.

The blaze could wipe out hundreds of multi-million dollar mansions and historic landmarks in star-studded Hollywood Hills. The flames ripped through 600 acres of dry brush in Griffith Park, a natural beauty spot in the centre of the city.

Pop star Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale, from rock band Bush, are known to own a sprawling estate close to the towering flames. Their lavish mansion was one of 300 in the area where firefighters went door-to-door forcing families to leave their homes.

Actors Kirsty Alley, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie also own houses in the area.

Flames raced over hills and canyons threatening the LA zoo and the Gene Autry Museum.

It is also home to the Griffith Observatory – made famous in the James Dean film Rebel Without A Cause.

By late afternoon, firefighters believed they had the blaze under control after helicopters dropped water on to the flames. But a shift in the wind whipped up flames at dusk, sending embers into the air and igniting other areas. Helicopter pilots continued the battle around the clock using night-vision equipment. Fire department chief Douglas Barry said they hoped to get better control of the fire at daybreak. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said police had to be called in to remove several stubborn residents that had refused to leave.

Thousands were also left without power as the fire burned through power-lines causing blackouts across the area.

The cause of the fire remains a mystery but police have detained a man in his 20s who suffered burns .

Investigators believe the fire was started with matches – but can’t say if it was deliberate or not.

George Clooney Doesn’t Want Any Kids Around, Yours or His Own, Ever… Who knew we have so much in common?

 

George Clooney has told Brad Pitt he can’t bring his children to visit him.

George – who is close friends with his ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ co-star – is famous for hosting parties for his showbiz pals at his Italian villa, but insists kids aren’t welcome.

George joked to Britain’s OK! magazine: “Some of the cast will come and visit me at my villa again.

“Brad will, but I’ve told him he can’t bring his 15 children.”

The ‘Fight Club’ actor has three adopted children and an 11-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh, with his partner Angelina Jolie, but despite his friend’s foray into fatherhood George has no desire to become a dad.

The 45-year-old star said: “I’m so selfish and I get nervous around kids, and I know I’m not ready for that kind of life.

“I’ve settled into a very comfortable lifestyle and I really don’t want to change things.

“I’ve learnt enough about myself to know that my work is the main thing which drives me and whatever woman comes into my life is going to have deal with that, which isn’t easy.”

Angelina & Brad in Prague (5/6)

Brad is pretty but my god, Angelina is perfection. She always looks flawless. It is funny how in the last image you get a glimpse of the size of her feet. They look like they are almost the same size as Paris’ behemoth feet. Actually Paris is a size 11 and Angelina a size 10, both quite large for their tiny frames. Maybe hot chicks and big feet go togehter? I always found big feet to be unattractive and almost a turn off. I really think Angelina has odd legs, arms, hands and feet. When you have a face like a goddess it doesn’t matter though. A face like hers can hide any imperfection.

I think Brad looked a lot better with Jennifer Aniston.  In a photo of Brad and Jen, they both stand out equally or Brad moreso. With Angelina, I barely see Brad. After forcing myself to recognize Brad, I find myself wondering why he is wearing that scarf, is it really that cold? Also his hat is not too cute. They both look hot & even hotter together.

Jennifer Aniston has been on the phone counseling Brad Pitt on what many reports have called a lot of trouble in his relationship with Angelina Jolie according to an earlier report.  Life & Style Weekly claims that Jen hasn’t told her former husband to ditch the unmarried woman of his four kids, Angelina Jolie, but she has been advising him on relaxation techniques.  And according to a report set for this week’s Us Weekly, Brad Pitt may need those tips as his wife travels.

Us Weekly Magazine reports that on the afternoon of April 27, Angelina Jolie made her directorial debut at the Tribeca Film Festival with her documentary about daily life around the globe A Place in Time.  But Jolie’s real show, however, didn’t begin until later that night.  She was with actor Olivier Martinez at a VIP after party after at eatery Gin Lane in New York City.

The report: Encouraged by a group of drummers, the actress eventually began waving her arms around. But it wasn’t until Jolie started dancing for Martinez that things got really wild. “She turned to him on the banquette and was shaking it in front of him. She was giving him a lap dance, ” another reveler tells Us. “She was looking over her shoulder, tossing a glance his way.”

As another partygoer describes it, “It was very, very flirty.  When she is with someone she knows, she might appear to be flirtatious, but it’s just affection.”

Was Angelina just innocently cutting loose with some old friends or sinking back into her former Hollywood wild-child ways?  And will phone calls from Jen be enough to soothe Brad?

Angelina Romances Brad.

Brad Pitt loves his bikes and Angelina Jolie surely knows how to keep her man happy.  And since the pair are rumored that their relationship has hit a rough patch, Angelina has found a way to bring the romance back into her relationship.  Like any good girlfriend she does it with gifts.  A report from In Touch Weekly says the sexy brunette has ponied up some cash and has surprised Brad with a custom-built motorcycle.

Angelina Jolie Gift to Brad Pitt: New Bike, Romantic Night at Hotel

A friend says that Angelina gave Brad, 43, the bike on the weekend of April 21, and he was seen riding it in LA that same day.  “She wanted to do something special for him,” the pal tells In Touch. 

According to the report published in this week’s magazine, Angelina also picked up a new Ducati Momo helmet for Brad.  And the grand gestures didn’t stop there.  On April 22, the couple of two years took some time away from their four children (Maddox,5; Pax, 3; Zahara,2; and Shiloh, 11 months) and checked into a luxury suite at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel.  “They stayed for a few hours, just the two of them,” says the insider.

The friend of the 31 year-old actress adds that while the pressures of raising four kids and having busy work schedules gets to them, they are trying to make it work.  “They are focusing more on their family now,” says the pal.
