Tomorrow, Friday, June 1, Playboy Radio will launch a new weekly show titled “The Bridget & Wednesday Friday Show.” Hosted by Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend and co-star of E! Entertainment TV’s “The Girls Next Door,” Bridget Marquardt, and co-hosted by her Pekingese, “Wednesday,” the show will air live every Friday morning (10am PT) on Playboy Radio, SIRIUS Satellite Radio Channel #198. The show will feature Bridget’s insider tales of life at the Playboy Mansion as well as her adventures with Hef, Holly and Kendra.
“I couldn’t be more proud of Bridget,” said Hugh M. Hefner, Playboy Editor-in-Chief and Chief Creative Officer. “After putting in the hard work to earn multiple broadcasting degrees, she continues to follow her dreams. I’m sure the new radio show will be a ton of fun. And Wednesday will be a great addition, especially on radio.”
Bridget earned her Master’s degree in Communications from the University of the Pacific in Stockton in addition to a BA degree in Communications from CSU Sacramento. Bridget’s dog, a female black Pekingese named for Wednesday from The Addams Family, likes rawhide chew bones, doggie pizzas and chasing Bridget’s cat, Gizmo, but dislikes pink ribbons in her hair.
